Passion is not an emotion that is often attributed to accountants. However, it is a big part of the character of our firm.
We have unabashed enthusiasm for our chosen profession, and there is no greater professional satisfaction than the success of our clients.
Being a boutique firm, our clients have direct access to speak and meet with our partners, Jason Crofts, Amanda Egan & Chad Legh and our experienced staff.
Communication is key. You can regularly meet with, and communicate with, all the Essentia team involved in your work. This creates a level of comfort and familiarity and ensures that you will always be able to get prompt answers to most questions no matter who you contact.
We have ingrained a very structured approach to continual legislative training and continued professional development. This is a major investment to ensure that our team has the knowledge and skills to deliver the services that you need.
We look after a wide variety of small to medium owned businesses, high net wealth individuals, business owners, and clients wanting to build their wealth.
Amanda is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (CA), a CA SMSF Specialist and a Certified Tax Practitioner with The Tax Institute. She holds a Master’s Degree in Taxation and a Diploma in Financial Planning.
As co-director of Essentia Partners Pty Limited, Amanda’s focus and strengths lie in her technical knowledge which has secured her reputation as a trusted advisor to both her clients and associate personnel.
Amanda has a strong focus on clients in the Building and Construction Industry. With over 20 years of experience working with this industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to our building and construction clients.
Whilst Amanda continues to counsel clients on broader accounting and taxation issues, her extensive experience in SMSFs has developed into her passion of guiding clients through areas of estate & retirement planning, wealth management and structuring, and of course, superannuation.
Jason is a strong advocate for small to medium enterprises and understands the challenges they face on a daily basis.
His focus has always been on long term, sustainable strategies for his clients and many family groups have trusted his advice for over 20 years.

Jason considers himself a supportive team member for his clients, often acting in an advisory capacity to directors both professionally and personally.
A Fellow of the peak body of Accountants in Australia (CAANZ) and a resident Justice of the Peace, Jason has the credentials to engage a wide spectrum of clients.
